Fun day with Wild Animals

Yesterday we spent a fun few hours with wild animals, and miraculously one of the wild animals was not Brylie. Good Things Utah arranged a play date at the zoo which included watching the white alligator be fed. He only eats about once every two weeks so this was a big deal. When they talked about the play date on the show Viv called and asked if we were planning on going. After being stuck inside for the last while, I was up for it. The weather cooperated and we had a really great time. Seeing the white alligator was one of the first things we saw, but since strollers weren't allowed in and I had to carry Beckam and keep track of Brylie, pictures were just not going to happen. (If you want to see pictures and video of the alligator visit my friends Vivien's blog.) Some of the animals were inside due to the cold weather, but the ones that were out were fun to see. The zoo has been running a commercial about how the big cats are more active in the winter and it is true. The cats we see in the summer that are doing nothing or napping were up walking around and putting on a great show. My favorite was the tiger. Brylie was just happy to be at the zoo.

Beckam was quite the trooper and just chilled in his stroller. He even got in a nap.

I can't wait for the temperature to warm up just a little bit and Beckam to be a little bit older so he might enjoy more to make another trip to the zoo. We had so much fun.
