There is one "catch-up" post I am definitely going to do and that is to introduce the newest member of our family. After much hoping, waiting and a little help from fertility drugs, we were blessed with the arrival of Sawyer Evelyn Harward on August 17th. She followed right along with her older siblings of not coming until I was induced and taking her sweet time to decide to join us. We got to the hospital at 7:30 that morning and she was born at 6:50pm. She did not follow in the size department. When I saw her after she was born I said, "She's so small." (I got a couple of funny looks and some "She's a good size" comments.) But when you're used to well over 8 lbs babies and around 20 inches long she was small. Sawyer weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 oz. and 18.25 inches long.
The next day my mom and sister brought Beckam and Brylie for a visit. It was quite the feeling to see my THREE kids together. Brylie instantly fell in love and didn't want to let Sawyer go. Beckam took a little while to warm up, but by the end of the visit he couldn't keep his hands off Saywer.
By Friday I was ready to get home and start my life as a mom of three and introduce Sawyer to our crazy family life.

And after we got home Sawyer kept things exciting by having a high bili level so she had to be on a bili light (blanket) and we got to take her in for blood draws every day until her levels came down. Never a dull moment in our house. I am very grateful that her levels came down pretty fast and we were able to keep her at home. We love having Sawyer in our family and she was well worth the wait.
