Thanksgiving

This year we spent Thanksgiving and few days after in Las Vegas. We had a great time seeing all of my family except my brother who is finishing up his Masters in Oklahoma. (Unfortunately school had to come before family this year since he is defending his thesis Friday and had to get it ready. Way to go Nate!! We'll forgive you missing Thanksgiving this once.) The weather was more then wonderful and now I'm adjusting to coming back to cold weather. The company was better then wonderful and just what I personally needed. My kids were more then entertained by their aunts and cousins. My mom cooked a fabulous feast and all we got to contribute were some paper Thanksgiving plates. (I just take comfort in the fact that it really cut down on cleanup.) Pre-meal entertainment was provide by my sister doing some Turkey Tango and Beckam banging away on the piano. Then it was time to eat and everyone left the table stuffed.
(All of the empty bowls and platters were filled with food)
Both Brandon and I did some Black Friday shopping. I just happened to do mine starting at midnight at the outlets, something I will never do again! Later that day I went with a couple of my sisters to see Twilight and Brandon, my dad, other sister and friend saw the James Bond movie. The rest of the trip was just hanging out and getting a few more shopping trips in. We left Sunday with promises we would come back soon. Brylie had a really hard time leaving and all the way home all we heard was, "I don't want to go home." Beckam is slowly adjusting back to life with just mom and Brylie and not being entertained or having someone right there to play with all the time. We all had a great time and couldn't have asked for a better trip. Now to get ready for Christmas.
