New Sleeping Arrangements

To try and cut down on cleaning two bedrooms for the kids, Brandon and I decided to move the kids into the same bedroom and make the other room a playroom. The kids love sharing a room and Brylie is especially excited to have a bunk bed and get to sleep on the top bunk.

(Excuse the mess. Beckam won't leave his bed made and like to put odd things in his bed.)

The first couple of nights were kind of ruff but now the kids go to bed and stay in their beds with no problems. Now if we could just get them on board with the whole idea of toys staying in the playroom and not in their room.

Pretty, Pretty, Princess

What does Brylie get when two aunts stop by for a little visit? Two willing participants to play Pretty, Pretty, Princess with. Thanks Cari and Lindsay for your visit and playing with Brylie. She now wants to play the game all the time. When are you coming back?

Oquirrh Temple Open House

Saturday we had the opportunity to go to another temple open house. The Oquirrh Mountain Temple has opened its doors to everyone until the end of July. I love that this is the second temple we've been able to take the kids through and show them what a temple looks like on the inside. Brylie is getting really excited about temples and it's fun trying to explain their importance and why we have them. And Beckam was so much better going through this time then the Draper, maybe something is starting to sink in with him to.

Gallivan Center Fun

With all the rain we've been having when a nice day does come our way we have to get out of the house. And when there is a free event that involves water on such a day we couldn't pass it up. Radio Disney was hosting a day out at the Gallivan Center so we headed over with our friends Viv, Britton, and Ashton. There were all kinds of things to do, water galore, and free creamies (my favorite part.) The kids definitely wore themselves out. What a great day!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!! I'm so grateful for all the fathers who have touched my life especially my dad, my father-in-law who raised a great son, and Brandon.

These kids have the best father which in turn gives me the best husband.

I honestly got so lucky in the father for my kids department! I love watching Beckam and Brylie with Brandon and they sure do love their dad. Thanks for all you do for all of us hon and always having energy for the kids.

Bees for Family Home Evening

June has finally appeared, well at least for one night. We've been getting a ton of rain lately so we haven't been able to start our summer or do any of the activities we'd like to do. But for one night we got some June weather and we made the most of it. We went to the Bees baseball game, sat out on the grass, and had a great time. I packed extra blankets and coats fully expecting it to rain and be cold, but there was no need. The weather was perfect, the kids were great once we got some treats (because don't you know it's all about the snacks) and we got to spend some much needed time outside.

If the weather can manage to stay nice maybe we'll make it to another game before the end of the summer. Anyone want to join us?

Playdates Needed

After seeing Beckam in this get-up more then a few times a week, I've decided he needs some more guy play dates badly!!

There is just too much estrogen going around this house for him to withstand. But you have to admit he looks cute as a princess.

Fun at the Tree House

On Saturday we had planned on trying to go to the air show, but because of the weather, we opted for The Tree House Museum. Brylie has seen this place advertised on PBS for awhile now and has really wanted to go. Lucky for us, a free admission day landed on the day we wanted to go. The kids had a ton of fun and ran everywhere. The Tree House Museum has a bunch of different "stations" for the kids to try different things.

With Brylie we got hung up at the art station and with Beckam it was all about the trains. I wish this wasn't quite so far away because we would go a lot more if it was closer.
